In the battle of the smart bulbs, it would appear that the Lumen TL800 is about to be a big contender starting here in 2014. There's been little damage done to the likes of Philips Hue's efforts in the smart light bulb business since inception, but all that may be about to change now that the Lumen TL800 arrives at Amazon online before being given a full showing at CES 2014. This light bulb is both multi-colored and smart enough to know when you've walked in the room.

Of course you'll need a device working with Bluetooth 4.0, that being the sort of Bluetooth that works with Bluetooth LE (Low Energy) and Bluetooth Smart. With this sort of technology, Lumen is able to make their lightbulbs turn on when you've arrived in-range. For Bluetooth 4.0, that means as far as 50 meters away.

There's a single Android app and an iOS app for use with the Lumen TL800 range, this app making simple work of the full functionality of the bulbs. Tapping hot or cold brings you a range of colors as such, and (supposing you've got your lightswitch set to power) you'll be able to tap on or off whenever you please.

The TL800 provides various modes for different occasions. Features include:

- Call Alert Mode: Notifies users of incoming calls by flashing when the phone rings.
- Music Sync Mode: Visualize your music by synchronizing your music and lighting effects. Music Sync Mode is customizable, allowing users to choose desired color combinations.
- Party Mode 1 and 2: Transform any space into a dance floor with pre-programmed flashing beats that match the music.
- Wake Mode: Mimics the sunrise in the morning, gradually brightening until it reaches maximum intensity at the stipulated wake up time. Users can customize how long the brightening process should take, from 5 minutes to 15 minutes.
- Romance Mode: Creates the perfect condition for a romantic date or quiet evening at home with a warm atmosphere.
- Relaxation Mode: Simulates calming moonlight, creating a relaxing ambiance.

Some days before I need a steady bluetooth earbuds for morning run. The last one is too heavy and easily jumped out ear when running. I searched it in amazon as usual. Then I found a very interesting and cheap one from ECSEM. It has two ear hooks , maybe it is the right one I searched. And the 20.99 is not a expensive test. I ordered it and receive after 2 days from amazon bluetooth earbuds.

The time I receive this Bluetooth earbuds package , it surprised me . It is too small about 10g and with a wire ( not wireless)? I guessed , but for a moment I found the reason. The wire connect two earbuds itself (not the phone) to play the music stereo.

Paring with the phone : Just click the main button on the top of earbud for 5-10 seconds , I success pair the phone with earbuds. It is a little difficult , I just quote the product page notice : "The correct instruction is you have to press the power button and count from 1 to 10 and then release the button, you could see blue and red light blinks few times first, then blue light flash fast, and then see the blue-red light blinks alternately or hear a beep. Now it can be found by your phone."

Playing music Test with Vol +/-, and next/previous track buttons. Beside the earbuds there are two button (+ -). Then I did some test with music playing. Press the + button the voice louder, long press the + button it will play the next song. Press the - button the voice lower, long press the - button it will play the prev song. It is just as the product page introduciton.

Answer the call with microphone Test : Then I test its call answer. I just call the phone which connect the wireless earbuds with my wife's phone. The music paused then show my wife phone number, then I press the main button , it auto answer the call (do not need to press the phone button). Afer a minutes call (maybe it has a microphone as I do not hold my phone to speak) then I hang up the call, press the main button, the music played again.

Running test : As the above note it has two earhooks , it is easily to put the hook on earbuds. Then I wear the hooks to my ears, after running for 10 minutes, it is not so steady as I suppose, but the earbuds do not jumped out. Maybe it is not support the very fast running .

In the end it is a good choice for bluetooth earbuds in 20.99. It sounds great and clearly answer the call in 8 meters. Easily to wear and very light. But the battery time is a little short only 2 hours 20 minutes playing music. You can buy it in Amazon here.
